Aidan is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of Engineers Ireland with over 38 years of experience in the design, project management, and construction sectors. He has a deep understanding of the industry and needs of clients and leverages this experience to deliver tailor made solutions that align with each client’s goals and objectives.
Aidan is an Expert Contributor to the National Standards Authority Ireland (NSAI) and regularly acts as an Expert Witness for all major insurers in Ireland and the U.K. He is recognised as an industry leading expert in the identification and remediation of latent defects related to Fire Safety, Structures, Water Ingress, and Cladding problems and has only in the last year successfully completed a number of large multimillion remediation projects in Ireland, the U.K. and Europe, specifically targeting Fire Safety and Water Ingress matters. Aidan’s knowledge and experience across numerous regulatory and legal jurisdictions ensures a very comprehensive and balanced approach to all projects.
Aidan holds a Bachelor’s in Engineering from University College Dublin and several other technical and project management qualifications from Trinity College, demonstrating his passion for and commitment to continued professional development.

Philip has worked on very large residential apartment and purpose built student accommodation schemes from feasibility and planning through to construction and operation. Philip is passionate about resolving the building fire defect crisis in Ireland and the U.K. and focuses his time and energy on fostering and deepening relationships with key partners, colleagues, and clients

Colin Scott is an Associate Director with AOCA and is a Chartered Engineer with over 25 years of engineering experience in the design, management, and supervision of Civil and Structural engineering projects. Colin has held senior engineering positions with leading consultancies in Scotland and Ireland specialising in industrial, commercial and residential developments. Colin has project extensive experience in the project management, design, and supervision of building defect remediation works including; structural damage, water ingress, fire detection and fire stopping issues.

He has a wealth of knowledge in the construction industry. Andrew has project managed projects in excess of 1.5 million Euro and has experience in the design and supervision of building defect remediation works including water ingress, fire detection and fire stopping issues.
Andrew’s knowledge and experience across numerous building defect issues ensures an informed economic design solution is specified.

Nathan leads the building surveyor team, bringing a wealth of experience in building surveying and a commitment to delivering the highest standards of services. With his Degree in Fire Safety Engineering, Nathan provides a number of services relating to fire safety and compliance, incl. fire safety assessments and fire risk assessments. He has reviewed, advised and overseen and number of fire remediation work projects from start to finish, incl. certification.
In addition to his technical expertise, Nathan is also focused on developing his team to ensure they provide the highest quality service to their clients. He leads a diverse range of surveying services, including building condition surveys, schedules of condition and dilapidation, planning reviews, fire safety in relation to licencing applications, technical due diligence reports, title and boundary reviews, and building regulatory advice.
